Garage door springs typically last, 3-12 years, depending on the usage of the garage door. We use high quality, torsion springs, rated at 10,000 cycles. If you’re garage door won’t open, or only opens a few inches and stops, check your spring(s), and see if one is broken. Look for a space between the coils to see if it needs replacement.
